So, last night we were doing video chat as an extended family to celebrate some exciting upcoming wedding news, Yea!!! Whilst (bringing that word back) we were chatting, I noticed a new "Mustache" feature on the Google Video...hmmmm. Playing around, suddenly I had a mustache. Then one by one, we all had to do it. Hilarious! Make sure you check out the bottom row of pictures too!!
A blog from a lady in the midwest. Busy Hubby, 2 kids, dog, full time job, doesn't get any better. Oh maybe if you add in a guinea pig named SEAN CONNERY.

Parks and Recreation

B.; "J., you need to be buckled into the swing??" |

With a little time to kill before our 1st attempt to see The Muppets movie...we headed to a park near my parents house with the 4 grandchildren. Of course, Daddy and Uncle K took this as a chance to show off their athleticism------>

Indiana Weekend
We dropped off the kids to Grammy Camp this past weekend, and BOY did those kids have a good time. I will lift the posts from my Mom's blog for my own purposes, but feel free to read about their adventures.
When we made plans to drop off the kids, I called up my siblings and organized a summer weekend for those who could make it in. Kyle and Ashley came up for a concert and birthdays, Cole and Emily came up, and Curt and Vanessa were in town. So sad that the girls couldn't join us. :(
For the weekend, we lit some fireworks; had a water fight; Kyle and I tried to set fire to the siding with dad's new grill: "Briqualita"; celebrated the July birthdays and capped it off with a SIBLINGS/SPOUSES tubing trip (Posted in a new post, the video feed isn't working). I give you a photo-logue:

Mom also made all the girls matching aprons while she rested from her 2nd knee replacement.
Don't they look nice??We also got matching potholders from the extras. Nice to have the matchy matchy. I LOVE that!

you should grab this app!
If you have a smartphone- this is the most perfect app: INSTAGRAM. You may have seen these over on Facebook, but I have to document them on the blog too! One roadblock for blogging that I gave myself was the feeling that everything needed to be photoshopped before going up. Now I love the look of a little processing, but it can quickly push me behind. Plus, my free time is so limited now, I really didn't feel like I could do it. Then I discovered this app. LOOK!!!
T's Dance recital, priceless. Videos to come when I figure out how to load quickly. Grrr.

Here we are enjoying a family movie, our Sunday tradition. The kids dismantle the couch in the basement and then go to town building forts or minibeds. Daddy was the lucky recipient this particular Sunday.
The splash on the right would be the boy, jumping the gun and getting ahead of his sister. Still, it's the first summer that T. can go off the boards, and BOY is she HAPPY!!
A little slice of the morning routine. Neighbor girl comes over to play and it usually ends up being a game or dress up. On this particular day they decided to play Monopoly. Ambitious, me thinks.
Just a little glimpse of my razy trip to KC for a conference. Had online class while I was there too. I felt "as one" with my macbook.
OKLAHOMA JOES. Diddy said he would never have a reason to go back to KC until we went here. Now he is planning to make it a pit stop in the near future.
And happiness abounds when names show up on random objects.
